Drink the rainbow

Each colour in fruits and vegetables is caused by specific phytonutrients, which are natural chemicals that help protect plants from germs, bugs and the sun's harmful rays and other threats. Each colour indicates an abundance of specific nutrients.

Reds contain lycopene and ellagic acid; nutrients that are studied for their cancer fighting effects.

Orange and yellow shows they are rich in vitamin C and carotenoids including beta carotene, which converts into vitamin A within the body, promoting healthy vision and cell growth.

Blues and purples contain anthocyanins and resveratrol, which are studied extensively for their anti-cancer and anti-aging properties.

Green, the best of all, are rich in lutein, isothiocyanates, isoflavones and vitamin K, essential for blood and bone health.

The pot of gold at the end of every rainbow juice is a healthier and more robust gut.
